Hot on the heels of the new Web Site, Cinnamon Systems has today launched a version targeted at
Windows Mobile powered Pocket PC devices.
The mobile site offers many of the same facilities as its desktop partner, and is accessed via the
device's Pocket Internet Explorer Web browser. The site is built using Microsoft ASP.NET and Visual
Basic.NET, both technologies which Cinnamon Systems advocates for development of dynamic Web applications.
Content is largely handled using XML technology. Development tools included Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003,
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, and Fireworks MX 2004.
Sections of the site explain the offerings of the company, which include Web applications, Client/Server
applications, Computer Hardware and Internet hosting. Users can enquire about any of these solutions, and can
order some items online. An expanded News service gives visitors the latest general and technology news from
leading providers including the BBC.
The Mobile version of Cinnamon Systems Web site can be found at:
www.cinnamonsystems.com/mobile
(or .co.uk/mobile). You can preview the
site from a standard desktop browser using the same URL. For additional information
